Make a spaghetti bolognaise sauce. Minced beef (or another meat – chicken & tuna also good), onions, garlic, tinned tomatoes & tomato paste, maybe some red wine, some herbs and pepper. Don’t use the jar stuff. Then make the bechamel sauce. This has flour, milk, and some butter in it – I also usually add a little cheese and pepper and an egg if you want it to be creamy. Stir it up until it’s thick.

Once you have the two sauces simmering away on the stove, create your lasagne by layering the meat, bechamel, then lasagne sheets into a big roasting dish. Finish with a good layer of cheese and stick it in the oven for about 30 minutes or however long the lasagne packet says. I love lasagne, can you tell???

I have two good recipes for lasagne. One has meat, and the other has eggplant instead of meat in it. They are both a little too long to leave in notes, but I’d be glad to send them to you in email if you could leave me a private note with an email address.
