Going On With Christmas Day and Stuff

So anyways….I had a long entry all finished ending my update of Christmas lastnight and for some reason it didn’t save. I can’t remember anything I said now lol.
Anyways, after getting everything together at my mom’s house we got ready to go to my grandma’s. It had put down a ton of snow Christmas Eve, so my sister didn’t want to drive on the slick roads, so I drove my dads pickup and my littlest sister went with Matt in his car. They had to stop and drop off a present at my sisters friends house. My sister had mentioned that she wanted me to go with her so we could talk. We talked, but not about much. She’s a very depressed person and needs to get it all out, but I can’t force her, I figure she’ll tell someone when she’s ready, hopefully soon…anyways enough about that, I’ll go deeper into that in another entry.
Anyways, we got there and everyone was just sitting around. My dad asked me something about Jayci’s stereo and I remembered wrapping it, but I couldn’t see one big enough to be it. So I sorted all the gifts out and it wasn’t there! The only place it could be was still here at my house. Well, we got everything opened and she hadn’t noticed(it was something she had on her list) It was bugging me really bad though. So while they were finishing up breakfast Matt and I ran home and got it. I also grabbed some stuff to change into and what not. So we get back and we just left it on the front porch. It worked out pretty good. While we were sitting down eating breakfast she had just got done so she went out to scrape her plate off to to the dog and saw it. I think my sister has told her about the whole Santa thing though. She’s 9 so it’s only a matter of time.
Anyways, we got some cool stuff at my grandmas. It’s kind of funny. A while back I borrowed my grandmas bread pans and I haven’t given them back yet. I had a feeling that was what we were going to get for Christmas. I was right. I opened them and started laughing and asked her if it was a hint. She just laughed and was like oh well kind of lol. There was also a card on the box and I opened it and it had a $50 check in there! I think she did that because before we’re married they always would give us $50 savings bonds for our birthdays and Christmas. I think she figures it will help us out more this way. Which is will…I’ll probably go buy a memory card for my camera…or maybe put it towards a really nice printer so I can print out our own pictures. Anyways, so what else did we get. We got a basket full of snacks and stuff from my aunt and uncle from Oregon….ummm ohhh I got an awesome sweatshirt from my dad. I had found it in Pac Sun when we were in there shopping for my sister. I pointed it out to him and he must have went back and got it. I’ll have to take a picture and show you…you’ll know why I like it when you see it…and then look at my name. Anyways….Matt is still getting something from my dad and my sisters. I kind of dropped the ball and forgot to go pick it up. Originally it was going to be seat covers, but he didn’t get speakers for his computer from his parents so I think I’ll have them go to Office Max or somewhere and get a gift certificate from there. Anyways, then we got a nice pillow and throw from my other aunt. It’s kind of Christmasy/wintery so I don’t think we can use it all year around, but it works nice for now because it can cover our chair. We have an old brown chair that Bob gave us because he was running low on room. It’s a nice chair, it’s just an ugly color. So that’ll cover it for now. Maybe I’ll go and buy one that we can use all year around. Anyways, I think that’s about it. After we opened stuff we just sat around and talked. Then after my sister got out of the shower I jumped in and got my hair done. Then it was time for us to head home so Matt could shower and get ready and I could finish and then were were off to Pocatello to do it all over again.
I’m thinking I’ll start that in another entry in a bit. This one is getting long and I’ve got some wifely duties to tend to…lol just cleaning so far lol.
