EATING CLEAN VS. CALORIE COUNTING

"Oh my lord."  <– My father in law’s new saying because he heard me say it a few times and now he has to poke fun at me…

I think that’s so funny.

I keep sabotaging myself. For the past probably two months, I have been trying to do 1200 calories Monday-Friday and have fun on the weekends like before. Well, Mondays usually are ruined because we go eat at my inlaws house and my mother in law is from Mexico and her rice should be illegal, it’s so good.

Alright, we all know I am not going to have any self control on Fridays because that’s the night we go out to eat.
Yeah right, like I am going to be slaving over a stove on a Friday night?!?!
 

I started looking around for other options, and I ran accross one of my favorite FASHIONISTA BLOGS, and a girl on a blog I follow posted how she lost like 30 lbs in 4-5 months on the EAT CLEAN DIET. (I wonder if this is the one Ashley was on?)

She said she ate 5-6 small meals a day, ate stuff like oatmeal, tuna and chicken, omitted processed foods and all that and got on the eliptical 5 nights a week and thats how she went from a size 10 to a size 6 from January to May.

(Not the only rules she followed, just gave a brief summary of the book) 

I am desperate. My wedding is this summer. (Maybe in August.) We havent set a date yet, we need to though… Because we are already planning stuff… I wonder if knowing the exact date will give me a little push?

I dont know whether I want to continue calorie counting, and really stick to it, even on weekends to see if its working or not, or if I want to try this eating clean thing. I might continue calorie counting for two more weeks and really go through with it, while I read the eat clean book the blogger girl followed to lose her weight…

I feel like calorie counting is not working for me, but then again I am not really following it to a t like I am supposed to be doing to even tell if its working or not.

Everytime I step on the scale I weigh 141. And I practically starve myself everyday… Until the weekend comes, and I am really really bad. And I haven’t been excercising like I did when I followed the cc and excercised 4 days a week and lost weight.
