We visited Kayla yesterday. It was a great visit! She is opening up to us, and it feels really nice. She gets to come to our town next time and meet the kids (which she is really looking forward to). It was hard to say goodbye, but she asked for hugs and that made us happy. Really looking forward to seeing her again. Ten days! Not soon enough. After that we’ll get to see her every weekend, and they anticipate overnight visits to begin mid-October. Happiness. 

Not very many people read this thing anymore… not that I blame you- I haven’t written a whole lot lately.
