Some other things and another birthday.

First, you all know I have to wish a very happy 64th birthday to this guy:

Among the "other things" category… oh, man. I don’t even want to say much about it so as not to jinx it, honestly. Long story short– we may have an opportunity to buy a house. A brand new house. With a yard. Not a big yard, but a yard nonetheless. I have no idea if it will happen or not, but the opportunity was presented to us yesterday evening… so we will spend today trying to figure things out to see if it will actually happen or not. Even if it doesn’t, we won’t be too sad. We have been able to make our current home work just fine for us. We just really miss having a yard, among other luxuries.

Anywhoozle… it’s like negative 5 degrees here right now, with a windchill of negative 15. I’m sure you all know how I feel about that.
