NoJoMo #25

I did not go out shopping last night. I refused to go out before 4 or 5 this morning, and in the end, I ended up not going out until 10 or later, when everybody was out of bed. I didn’t even go to buy kids stuff; I went to Joann’s but I need to go back tomorrow for their Saturday sale on tulle. We all went out this morning, then went to Bob Evans for brunch, then to Target to pick up a few things. I only went for one thing, but I ended up picking up a lava lamp for Sophia, a few Leapster games for Connor, and a few other things. We got home and put the kids down for a nap, then I went and picked up John’s mom and went up to Toys R Us to get Connor’s Home Depot workbench and a few other things. It wasn’t too bad, packed but not crazy like last year. The game that I wanted to get Sophia wasn’t available, but fortunately I picked it up Friday on my way home, just in case it wasn’t available for the Black Friday sale. It wasn’t.

We went to the zoo for the Wildlights tonight. It was packed, and the show wasn’t as good as it has been in previous years. I won’t go the day after Thanksgiving again.

Anyway, I’m tired. I think I’m going to have a piece of pumpkin pie and go to bed.
