NoJoMo #1: Recapping Halloween

Yesterday was insane.

I made Sophia’s costume this year, and when I went to bed at 1 am Monday morning, I still had work to do. So I left work half an hour early yesterday to go home and finish sewing her costume. It was loosely put together and needs to be fixed before she uses it as dress up clothing, but it was presentable and Sophia loved it, and that’s all that matters. Connor was The Hulk with a store bought costume, so he was pretty easy. They were both exhausted by time we got home, and Sophia was sad to see her purple hairspray go down the drain. They got enough candy, but not so much that we’ll still be eating it a year from now. Overall, it was a good day.
