Everywhere I go,
it’s hard to avoid bits and pieces I know
that remind me of you.

These familiar places have lost one of their most significant elements.
I’m surrounded by faces
uselessly searching
for the one I’m missing.

Listen to what they say,
whenever they talk about you.
You’ve brightened up their days.
I know their feelings are true.

Everywhere I go,
I’ll always carry this memory
of how good you’ve been to me.
