Well.. Today started like any other weekday…

6 AM – A L A R M – WAKE UP!!! To which of course I shut off and naturally fall back to sleep only to awaken suddenly 1/2 hour later to begin rushing to not be late for work!

Wake the oldest son up, wash face, wet down the tangled mess of hair, make coffee, get dressed… WAIT! Oldest not up yet?!!! Shake oldest son awake with urgency to get in shower before Dad wakes up!

Sound familiar? Yep… my life… cut and paste.

Something new? Yep… Son is well so will be going to school today.

Ok… now get dressed, add a little make up to face so dark circles don’t show so much, brush teeth, shake hair dry and put into place with a little gel, or some similar hair product.

s there still time to make lunch? Son still needs to eat so this buys me enough time…

Make lunch.. the usual… yogurt and pretzels for mid morning snack, some sort of staple food for lunch and ice tea… oh… let’s not forget to bring the water bottle and THE most important…. Coffee!

Hi Ho.. Hi Ho… it’s off to work we go! And… we are late so still don’t have to battle the parental traffic (gotta teach the son better waking skills)

Work… Today is hump day, which means slow day. Nice… take some time waking up still while getting office together. Computer notes, Call Backs, Faxing, Filing, Getting weights, Temps (only a few today). Today was food ordering day so it’s a nice little step off the beaten path for a day. Had a few furry patients today. Nothing serious, which is always good.

Let’s not forget the co-workers… fun times! 🙂 Gossip…. ohhh… so juicy and the laughter that follows… priceless. Had a good time today.. We came up with a new idea to keep outsiders from our HOSPITAL PARKING ONLY. Seemed to work pretty good, but there is always the one or two that really need to get some glasses, either that or they are blatantly rude.

1 PM – sit in car and eat mundane lunch (would not be so mundane if did not have to worry about weight gain). Read another installment of Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth series… or at least a few chapters. Got started on an e-mail Tarot reading, almost finished.

5 PM – Closing… but can’t go home till the money’s counted… "Show Me The Money"

Had Chaz to tend to again today before going home. Today was my last day with him for now. Until his mom goes away again. I’ll miss him. 🙁

By a little after 6 pm I arrive home to find oldest Son playing video games and youngest son watching TV. But lo and behold… the dishes have already been washed and the kids have already done their homework. WOW! Nice. Tonight there is no time to cook dinner so every man for himself. Need to try and help youngest finish project for school. Wait…

Hubby comes home, can barely walk due to sore back. Guess it’s time to break out the massage table and do some Reiki healing.

By 8 PM I get started on son’s project, take a break to eat frozen dinner then go right back at it.

11:15 PM – Guess it’s not gonna get finished tonight, we all need sleep. Ohhh but wait… gotta journal…

Shower…
