happy new year!

Yeah, so Im a little late.  What else is new?

So, today is day one of not smoking.  Im not sure yet how this whole experiment will work out, as I have been (with the exception of pregnancies) been smoking for 14 years.  I am just a smidge crabby, and a little rediculous.  Or maybe a lot.  Blarg.

Anyway, I am hopeful for this year.  We are moving to NJ/NY this summer, and hopefully I will be starting a new better school this fall.  I am going to be applying to Pratt, Parsons, SVA and NYU.  Hopefully someone accepts me a s a transfer student and doesnt wipe away all my credits.  I will just be happy to be going to a school of some stature. 

So, rang in the new year by finding out we need a new car.  Luckilly, it looks like that is going to happen, and mary is presently looking at a 96 Jetta.   Much better than the 91 New Yorker we have been using for the past year or so. 

Anyway, this whole no-nicotine thing has me a bit befuddled and foggy, so forgive me the crappy nature of this blog. 

In addition, there is someone special I have be wanting to thank, and i havent gotten around to it… I will.
