My new favorite font is Garamond.  I use it for everything, except for writing papers.  For papers I use Arial, not out of aesthetic choice, but because at 12pt, it takes up much more room.  Oh the things we will do to gain another quarter page when writing some mundane report on some retarded subject which we purposely slant in order to curry favor with narrow professors.  Oh, and of course headlines.  I use Copperplate Gothic Black for those.

I wonder if there has ever been some sort of study as to why we use certain fonts, if there are some psychological markers that determine which we choose.  I assume there is a large contingent of those who use only Times New Roman, simply because it is the default.  See, I am not a default person.  You can nearly almost always count on the fact that if something is already pre-set, I will change it.  I dont know, maybe it is an unoriginal attempt at being original.

Thanks so much for all of you altruistic folks who have noted me, even though I never note anymore and hardly ever write.  I dont know anymore, guys.  I just dont, and I think maybe the fall-out from that is that I dont commit anything to text, since I am in this horrid state of "just now-ness".  Permanency isnt something I am looking at, and I guess its just this state of flux that has me out of my normal sensibilities. 

Like I said, I just dont know.  The purpose of the last 2+ years just seems to be eluding me as of late, and I dont know how to take that.  I guess I just figured that at some point the investment I had made would pay back.  I suppose not.

So, patience my friends and acquaintances.  For I am short of it myself.
