november.

ahhh, november.   one of my favorite months of the year.   i am going to try and do an entry-a-day for NoJoMo,   just.  cause.   let’s see how it goes…

in baby news….

yesterday was joaquin’s 2-month check-up.   

the good news – he’s still growing well and thriving! he’s in the 47th percentile for weight and the 81st percentile for height.  

the bad news – he got his first set of shots.  it was very sad and he was very pitiful.  he’s still kind of sad & pitiful, but he’s doing a lot better.   we saw his first actual TEARS.   two big ones rolled down his right cheek.   i got pretty teary-eyed seeing him cry that hard.  i hated seeing him in pain and realized that i’ll be trying to protect him from pain for the rest of his life.    it still makes my mind reel that i am responsible for creating and nurturing this amazing little human being.    it’s so incredibly humbling.
