Sundee

After a rather frustrating morning, we are in Sydney.  Here until Tuesday, and checked into a nice hotel on Darling Harbour.

We met up with a friend of M’s that he met on Twitter.  It was a nice evening, he bought a jug of beer (which I drank most of).  I got a nice buzz going and enjoyed a cigarette on a balcony above George Street.  I love the city.  I really do.  I absolutely adore Shanghai, and I certainly have a soft spot for Sydney.  

We went to Mr Crackle after the bar and got pork rolls.  We parted ways with M’s friend and then M and I wandered back to the hotel.  Got lost, of course, because we weren’t paying attention to where we were going.  But, we got back within decent time and we are now settling in for the night.

This is really just a note to say hi, and to say that I am feeling quite happy and relaxed right now.  I am missing my little Ernie like crazy, but that is to be expected.

PS.  We booked M’s plane tickets to the US today!  He leaves on 2 August.  So soon, so exciting!
