Another month

I have decided to give it another month here in vain hope that I might at least get an interview before having to go ‘home’.

I have decided to do some voluntary work in the meantime to keep a check that I don’t lose any of my skills ( I say skills but that is stretching them rather a lot LOL) and also to try and have some kind of valid input into the community. Even if it doesn’t enable me to have any financial input, its worth a shot and you never know where it might lead in the end.

I am going out for dinner tonight with the boyfriend. I have tried to gently ease him into the fact I can’t really stay here in this way but he doesn’t seem to be taking it in too well. He has said he will support me financially until things change, which is very sweet but that isn’t how I want things to be at all. I have always tried to be independent and have a valid input in society, even if its only a tiny bit, but being stuck at home and just doing housey stuff really isn’t enough for me and much as I love him, I need to work -not just for him and our pockets- but for my own sanity.

I thought I might also try and get my head down and do a bit of writing, you never know- there might be a best selling novel in here somewhere and it would be a shame to waste the opportunity to write it. Wonder if I can write it in a month? lol

I should also try and play the guitar again… its been a long time and I have pretty much forgtten all I learnt and it was a long time ago! I’ll give one or the other a shot anyway.

Better go, the boyf is home and I should get ready to be taken out my tea.

Fingers crossed for not only an interview, but a JOB! Take care.

I say follow your heart sweetie, if that means packing up and going back your Home. Staying and living there or hopping a freight train and riding to the end, just to see whats there. Go for it. You may never be in a position to CHOSE again, especially if you fall in love and do the wife and kids thing, like I did. Just keep in mind that Happiness is the life you should seek.
