Mad with amazon

2 weeks ago I ordered a pair of boots of amazon and they didn’t come when they were supposed to. I emailed them about it but unbeknownst to me they had already sent an email that said that I wouldn’t be getting the boots because they were out of stock.
That’s fair enough, but surely it would have been nicer to take them off the website when they were out of stock? Nevermind, they replied to my email and this time said my card had been declined which is bull because Office ( who were selling the shoes through amazon) also emailed me to say they were out of stock. So amazon lie and I am not going to buy anything from them for quite some time!!!!

I did have an annoyance about my card – it keeps needing to go in machines more than once- ever since bloody chip and pin came in, so I have to ring the bank and check it out but my card might need replacing. Anyway when I was at the shops the other day my bank had to verify my card- which they did- apparently they do routine checks. Its a bit embarrasing though when theres a queue full of people. I think I might change my bank soon.

In fact- I hate my bank.

I can’t think of any bank I like – including the one we use! I’d keep my money under my mattress, if it weren’t so impractical. Take care.

The first time I bought something off Amazon they charged me about four times for it. I eventually got my money back, but I wasn’t impressed and it put me off for years. I use them a bit now, though, because through their UK site I can send heaps of books to SJ with no postage charge. They’ve never messed me around since the first time.
