Non smoker…?

 It has just dawned on me that I have been a non smoker for over 3 months now. I am ever so pleased with myself, I truly think this is it- I am no longer a slave to the dreaded weed- hoorah!  I shall try not to get too big headed because that is when I am likely to suddenly fail so I shall not go on and on about it… just have a small chirrup of a hoorah to keep track of my progress and pass on to the rest of my entry.

I was very fortunate today because my usually rather unpleasant bosses decided to give us an early christmas gift and let us have the afternoon off for Christmas shopping!

  It all started off rather badly I’m afraid as my friend and I were enticed into a cheap shop full of shoes. I was in desperate need of some special shoes for our christmas bash which is on Friday because I am determined to make do with the dress that I already have – thus accessories are allowed but no new frocks ( didn’t see any I liked anyway to be honest).  I was extremely pleased to find a little pair of red sequined shoes (similar to Dorothy’s in the Wizard of Oz!) in this splendid bargainous shop.

 Sorry, go a bit obsessed there! I really am super pleased with my Dorothy shoes and think they are v Christmassy as well as being my token red item ( we HAVE to wear something red- I was going to wear red knickers but no one would know would they?- unless I got really drunk and I mustn’t because its a work do!!!)

All this however was not really in the spirit of Christmas and I am afraid it went steadily downhill from there- somehow I managed to spend about £70 and none of it was for anyone else but me- I am a disgusting disgrace and my Ma would be v ashamed… oops.

I really must try and get my hair cut tomorrow- it’s also a disgrace and instead of looking something like this ( I hasten to add i don’t look like this at all but my hair did somewhat resemble this not so long ago…!):
