Slowly, Slowly

Well, I haven’t had a cigarette since I got so down about them the other day. So, it’s now Monday night and I haven’t had once since Saturday night- that’s not too bad. I’m not going to put too much pressure on myself- its just setting me up for a fall if I do.

I’m gonna take it as it comes really. I shall also take note of what Travelling Light and Willy said in their notes to me. It is hard, but perhaps if I just go along the lines of, I want to see if I can stay stopped smoking for a few days and then if I have one- the next time I stopI will try for a few more days and eventually I will realise I’ve been stopped for a week and carry on like that.

It’s a big mountain but it’s one I am determined to climb.

Unfortunately, in trying to find something else to occupy my mouth with, I keep eating olives… many, many olives. It’s better than getting an addiction to chocolate I suppose!

Anyway, got some stuff I need to get on with- including watching this shocking program about Tescos- they leave me permanently astounded by their blantant bullying tactics with small communities- anyway I won’t go on about that. I’m going to eat olives- which incidently I got in Morrisons!!! :oP

Olives are good for you; MUCH better than chocolate or cigarettes, for that matter. Take care.

I always turn to bread when I’m stressed. Probably even worse than chocolate.

Just keep taking it one day at a time…..if it were easy, you’d have done it long ago….and i have no idea what Tescos are….

Aye Tescos are a pain. But the only real option here are Sainsburys and they’re as bad except their stuff is more rubbish :/
