Simple things

  • Nathan bought me a tiny tub of Edy’s mint chocolate chip ice cream.
  • My book is almost 70,000 words long right now. It’s almost done. I must say I’m quite proud of myself.
  • Jjumpingj is home from Bolivia.
  • When I wear my snuggie (I didn’t buy it, it was a promotional give away) backwards, I feel like I’m wearing a Harry Potter style cloak. I love walking up and down the stairs with it on. I like the way it billows out behind me.
  • I have a four-day weekend this week. I love that my office is closed the day after Thanksgiving. I get paid for that day too.
  • It’s finally rained here. It may be November, but we haven’t had a decent rain in nearly two months. Drought is a curse. Nobody could burn leaves and we were under a fire advisory, which is odd.
  • My non-aunt Sue not only gave me a set of salt and pepper shakers from my grandma Imo, she gave me a set for each of the boys AND a lovely fresh water pearl necklace of hers. I love the necklace and have been wearing it for the past couple of days.
  • I saw Harry Potter 7, Part 1 on Sunday. I liked it a lot. Some have said there wasn’t enough action, but I disagree. And the acting of Ms. Emma Watson (Hermione) in this film was outstanding.

People said it didn’t have enough ACTION? My goodness! Were they expecting “Speed 4?”

I love my snuggie! lol 🙂

oh yeah, the salt and pepper shakers. I was wondering how that worked out. I enjoy my faux snuggie, too. It’s a Gator “snuggie” style, but not the brand. Snuggie has a Gator snuggie, but the UF school store didn’t have the Snuggie brand, this fake brand. Um, okay! it’s important to remember these little things!

I wear my snuggie backwards too…and I love the way it billows out behind me when I walk outside.
