Bulleted because I can:

  • I have a cold. Either that or really bad allergies. I’m leaning towards cold because my allergy pill isn’t doing SQUAT for me.
  • The results of my CT scan are basically normal. Fatty liver (normal). Intestine Pockets (normal). Everything else (normal).
  • I have to now go for a HIDA scan. Google it. My head hurts too much to write it out.

Does anybody know if I can take a Dayquill on top of a Zyrtec?

Well, YAY, as far as it goes! The HIDA scan doesn’t sound TOO bad (except for the “staying unmoving for an hour” part) but wow, what a mouthful to SAY.

I fell asleep during mine. Lay on the table, have pictures taken….zzzzzzzzzz. Very dull actually.

HIda scan is easy peasy. I used to do them all the time. You basically get to lie down and sleep for ninety minutes. Ok, yes, it IS a needle jab in the arm but that’s it. Then hour and a half of boring imaging where you get told off if you snore too loud, lol. Make sure you get your tech to make you comfy first, get a pillow under your knees because keeping your legs that flat for that long without moving lots can get tricky.

I hope you feel better soon.
