Getting What I’ve Wanted *Edited to add photos

Don’t judge me. I’m going to be getting something I’ve wanted for a very long time. I just haven’t had the guts to do it. I’m getting another tattoo. Only this one will be a lot more drastic. I’m getting a full back tattoo. It’s going to be elegant. It’s going to be feminine. It’s going to be sexy. It’s going to hurt like hell. It’s also going to cost me quite a bit of money. I’m pretty sure I’ve finalized the design. I’m building on my Beauty and the Beast tattoo. It’s going to be so beautiful. I’ve found a rose vine design that I adore. I’m going to have two vines. One coming up from each side of my existing tattoo and then crossing over it and coming together in a heart. I have not decided if I’m going to have anything inside the heart at all. I MIGHT have the bell jar and rose put inside of it or just a single rose. Another thought was to have the Beast’s and Belle’s dancing outline put into the heart. Or, I could leave the space blank. It will be done in all black and shades of gray. No color. The rose in the Beast’s hand in my original tattoo is the only color.

I am also toying with the idea of Beast’s castle instead of the roses. But I’m just not sure how feminine that would look. A castle is a very hard object with solid lines. I’m pretty sure I want something that "flows."

My body is my temple. I shall decorate and adorn it.

I have always thought a simple full back tattoo to be very beautiful and feminine if done well. Simplicity is the key. Yes, a full color tattoo can be beautiful too. But I prefer very few colors and simple lines.  Once I have a design mocked up (from photos), I’ll post it. I’m very excited about this! Even my husband said that he thinks it would be pretty. I have a lovely back and shape. I think getting this new tattoo will make it better!

This is a photo of my current tattoo. It’s on the middle lower of my back. It starts just below my pants line and is approximately 7 inches tall from top text to bottom text. Please forgive the not so great photo.  I can’t take it myself and (to be brutally honest) hubby sucks at taking photos.
i love my tattoo

This is the rose design that I LOVE. I’m going to have it start on either side of the original tattoo and then come up and flow around into a heart. OR, I’m just going to have the vine climb up my back and be all swirly and flowing and pretty. Haven’t decided yet. It WILL be in all black though.

so pretty

Isn’t it just LOVELY? I ADORE this tattoo.  I’ve considered getting it in the same spot on myself. But I’d rather just draw from her tattoo and make something original. It’s just GORGEOUS.

Go ahead. Who should care and fuss, it’s YOURS!!! Unless you wrote “for a good time call 1-800 Keepsake” on your arm….

It sounds pretty! I love the idea of the vines; if they change with your body you won’t be able to tell really!

Are you going to have vines around the original tatoo? I think that would be spectacular! Love the roses!!!

I like the simplicity of the single color – sounds really pretty 🙂
