All dressed up

Well, tonight was the annual Sales Banquet for my company. This is only the second time in 6 years that I’ve been able to go. Please excuse my yellow teeth, I’d had 2 glasses of wine, a coke, and two cups of coffee and chocolate ice creme.  Still, it’s nice when people you know come up and say that the topic of conversation in their group is your dress and it’s all nice stuff being said. Apparently, I’m a risk taker with my dresses (the last time I went, it was a "20’s style" dress) and it always works out so well. Well, this risky dress come off the rack at Target for $35.99. The headband (you can’t see it here but it has feathers) was $5. The dress doesn’t really photograph as good as it looked in person. In this photo, I look like I have a huge ribcage and a high waist, but that belt is about 6 inches above my natural waste and 4 inches below my boobs.  An odd spot, but it worked in person. It’s too bad that the picture doesn’t show my shoes. EXCELLENT shoes also from Target for $20.

And doesn’t Nathan look good?

You look amazing! Target rocks!

This is a good picture. RYN: Yeah, I am still a little intimidated by the granny square. But, I am also excited at the knowledge that I will learn it. I mean, I have to…it is on my blog.

I don’t think your teeth are yellow! You look adorable. I want your dress.

Thank you so much for doing the granny square afghan to donate. I would love to see a picture of it when you are finished. Also, if you would be so kind, could you repost the entry so more people will donate. I would love to get a lot of blankets donated.
