How many slaves are working for you?

Every day, tens of thousands of women in America buy make up. Every day, tens of thousands of Indian children mine mica, which is the little sparkles in the make up.

We think that slavery has been abolished in the modern world, but that’s far from the truth.

Take the survey to see how many slaves are working for you around the world, and how you can change this:

RYN: Thank you for having my back regarding “flummox.” I, too, thought it was an appropriate use of the word.

ryn: Really? That’s such a relief, I was afraid others would see his brush with serious drugs grounds for running from this relationship. I’m glad that the past doesn’t have to be a deal breaker.

RYN: Lol. Yes. It actually does mean something: Fuck yourself. Where did that come from? Are elves at the north pole slavery?

Lol really? softie. U can tell nomojo is over….you are back to sucking ass in the writing department. 😉

Yeah, I get what you mean about art house films – they do tend to be more fulfilling and memorable than your shleppy blockbusters but I still don’t think it’s a genre. I mean, if you say ‘come and watch this arty film with me’ I will want to know more before I can guess whether I’ll like it. It has to be more than ‘arty’ or ‘budget’ or whatever. Did you ever see that Gainsbourg? That was good.

Oh and the French film was called 5×2. It’s the story of a marriage told in reverse from divorce to meeting. It was good in a slightly uncomfortable way (and I may have exaggerated the amount of sex that’s in it).

ugh i hate sparkles in make up the slave trade is huge and ppl dont realise it a girl in my class said ” well slavery ended in the 1800s” i think the idea of sex workers and human trafficking is beyond her

heres a fun ( kind of ) interesting thing to check out http://playspent.org/
