Awwww yeah! Downloading some AWESOME music! I don’t often update the music on my iPad so when I do I’m always very excited. Today’s updates include Joni Mitchell, Rihanna, Friendly Fires and De La Soul.

De La Soul are just fucking amazing. I’ve never listened to their stuff before, but someone introduced me to their album "Art Official Intelligence" and it’s just so cool. It’s classic old school ’90s hip hop with a bit of Mr Scruff style thrown in for good measure. I would recommend this to everyone.

Work has been busy and stressful recently, but I think I’m doing a good job nonetheless. People seem pleased with what I’m doing. And FINALLY, I’ve nailed my boss’ taste, so I can present things to her that I know she’ll like. Makes it a lot easier since she’s not rejecting my ideas any more. I also seem to have opened up a little more, I’m more friendly and silly with people now.

I’m always so painfully shy for SO LONG with new people, it makes it difficult to be myself and therefore I feel quite awful and isolated. I guess my sense of humour revolves around poking fun at others, but in a loving way. But it’s hard to do that when you barely know people. Once I know if someone will react well or not to my friendly jibes, then I can relax and tease them without fear of offending people.

I got it from my Dad. He CONSTANTLY poked fun at us throughout our childhood, but always in an affectionate way. Now, me and my sister poke fun at him and he gets flustered and annoyed that he’s getting a taste of his own medicine. It’s so funny.

I’m gonna leave you with a De La Soul song. I never bother to click people’s links for songs, but I’m going to say YOU MUST LISTEN! At least give it a go…

FYI: I always poke fun at people in a silly way. Someone thought I was really weird the other day because I joked about him secretly wishing to be a proctologist. Luckily y’know, he still seems to think I’m an acceptable person, so yay!
