I totally have an excuse. TRAVELLING.

I really don’t have much to say today. I swear I think about doing an entry and the IMMENSE PRESSURE of updating makes me apathetic towards actually doing it.

Did you know, the word ‘peruse’ doesn’t actually mean to browse/scan at leisure but actually means to read intensely or with great attention?

Aye, it’s true.

So… What have I been up to recently? I just got back from Turkey. I went there for work (I love my job and its awesome perks); we drove through the mountains by the sea at sunset to get to the factories we were visiting and it was just beautiful. We went on a boat across the sea to get dinner one night; we ate kebabs and dips and flatbread and all those wonderful Turkish foods. No Turkish Delight though – YUCK.

Visiting the factories/laundries was also huge fun but I won’t bore you guys with the details. Otherwise it’ll be paragraphs of me explaining how indigo is oxidised using pure oxygen (which is actually freaking insane but… yeah… I’ll shut up now).

Also went to Amsterdam last Friday but it rained on me all day, and I had a shitty cold so I felt awful the whole time. Got my work done though.

Hmmm…. Finally managed to find out from Mat’s employer that he can have enough time off at Christmas to come back to England with me which is very exciting. I am SO excited to be going home for Christmas, it’s such a fun time of year, full of family, friends and food. And that’s really all I ever need.

Soon I shall try to find something interesting to write about. Although the last time I did that, i wrote about something as dull as movies and people went a bit nuts. THOUGH, I did find out i was RIGHT! There was an Avengers movie!!! 1998!! To be fair, it’s not the same Avengers as the ones in the current movie (instead it’s about camp British spies with secret weapon umbrellas). But nevertheless! I am not going mad. There was an Avengers movie.

p.s. Debating giving NoJoMo a try, if only to get me in the habit of writing regularly in any form. I really need to get back into writing. Thoughts?
