Photo Bloat-o?
Well well well! Here we are again my friends.
I have to admit, the reason I didn’t update for a while after the last entry was because I felt a little silly.
There I was going on about how I’m totally gonna stop smoking weed and that it’ll probably send me crazy one day etc etc and literally, the day after I wrote the entry, I totally hopped on a train to Holland and picked up another few grams. GOD DAMN IT!
That being said, after THAT bag had gone, I did indeed give up, and so I present to you an entirely sober entry. I haven’t gone tee-total or anything, actually, Mat and I are planning on picking up again when we get our week off in September, but I reckon it’s probably best to stick to special occasions like holidays and the like so that all our money/minds don’t wash down the drain.
It’s weird, I always intensely miss weed for the first say, week, but after that, it’s fine. In fact, I often feel better for it. I’m back to my normal weight since I’m not pigging out on everything in sight, and I’m actually socialising with other people too.
Last weekend was a Belgian bank holiday so we had the Monday off. I invited Rose over (yes, I have a friend who has my name, and yes, it’s really weird) and we did creative things and getting drunk things. I found these cool antique lithograph prints at the antiques market that were old wine labels printed onto kind of a peach coloured paper. It cost me 3 euros for like, 50 of them, so we covered my shitty Ikea coffee table in them and now it looks awesome!
And check it out, this is how NOT STONED I am, I actually got off the sofa, found my camera, tried to take a picture, found it it was out of battery, went and put it on charge, took pictures with my phone instead, went and found the PC connecter cable, looked up online how to make it work and uploaded them. You are PRIVELEGED, people!
Yes, I love it.
And while I’m here and I have photos, I have one more for you. I made a bunch of cupcakes for Dad’s birthday in November. They were supposed to look like a red octopus with black spots but I was over eager and iced some whilst they were still warm, so now I give you….
Retardo-cupcake!
The rest turned out great, but I didn’t take pictures of them.
Come to think of it, I’m really bad at taking photos at any time. I never document my life. So I’ll end this entry with a request – is there anything you guys want to see photos of? Maybe some ideas will inspire me to take more photos in general. And hopefully not turn me into those godawful photo-whores Facebook is so jam-packed with.
XxX

If not smoking weed hones the kind of creativity needed to make such a GREAT TABLE…. I think I’d better stop smoking, and soon.

Your cupcake made me think of this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgnhkxxYZv8 Also: Man, weight loss is the most awesome part of not smoking weed for me. Also spending significantly less money on groceries. Christ. I can buy for the WEEK and down it all in a night if I’m smoking. Anyway. Sup. Browsed over here from a note you left on Milli Vanilli’s page (I wantedto know what you quit doing that made you feel better, AND NOW I KNOW). Freaking awesome table thing, lass.

RYN: My job…I’m in the marketing/graphic design industry. I believe my actual title is creative bullshitter. But it pays the bills. Nice photos.

RYN: Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll take a look. I believe King still has true horror in him but horror, by definition, needs a reinvention.
