Mammogram Done

 I was lucky enough to go do my mammogram today. It was just called a baseline/screening mammogram. Two pictures of each breast. It wasn’t as horrible as I thought it’d be. The rad tech was super nice. So, that’s over with. The famous question is about family history. When I tell them yes my mom ha breast cancer & her age at diagnosis. The reaction. Is always the same "yes, you should definitely get this done". Ugh. Why must genes rule my life. 

So. She let me look at the pictures. Kind of cool. Both had obvious fibrous tissue (normal). Both looked relatively the same. The left just happened to have an extra section of glowing tissue (the fibrous areas are a bright white kinda) about where I’d assume I feel the marble. But it looked rather identical to the other areas in both breasts that I’m assuming was the fibrous part. So, I’m thinking (hoping) that the marble is just a very fibrous area & all is well 

The tech can’t give results or any info at all. She said I will get a letter in about the next week that has four boxes. Normal. Needs checking in 3-6 months. Likely benign follow up with doctor. Or See doctor immediately. I told her that means ideally I want a letter that says normal. She didn’t respond. So who knows. Obviously the goal is to get a letter with the top box checked that simply says normal. Guess we find out in about a week. I will just think positive. And there is no way I can have breast cancer. I’m only 29! 

So I wait. Story of my life. 

I’m on CD 16 today. Positive OPK on CD 14 (very positive). Negative’s on CD 15 & 16. So the + indicates ovulation within 24-48 hours or something. Absolutely no temp rise today. So hopefully today is O day & I get a rise tomorrow. We will see. 

Ty’s taking the antibiotics much to his unhappiness. I’m praying the agglutination is strictly from the infection and that’s it. Agglutination also represents antibodies and if that’s the case getting pregnant is nearly impossible with extreme measures. And I sure cant afford extreme choices. I’ve quit googling it as all google options are pretty bad if it’s not from the infection. Sigh. We will see. 

Got my pap results & they’re great. So, at least that’s some good news. 

And got child support. The new amount is finally in effect. Yay!  With the arrears that are being paid it’s about four times more a month. So I’m hoping to put a huge chunk if that in savings every month & just slowly work at getting debt paid off & money saved :). So far no psycho phone calls. Hopefully it stays that way.
