Happy birthday to me

It my quietest birthday in years. 41 years and I’m sitting in my mother’s house. All alone, the folks are off to Florida. I don’t yet have a place of my own. Watching the Superbowl for the first time in years because I don’t have a herd of kids and the ex demanding attention. Not what I expected a year ago.
