P O W E R – what does that spell? – POWER!!!
Yes my loves the huge ice storm hit my city and several surrounding cities and knocked the wind out of all of us on Tuesday, Jan. 27th . Every one of our towns were completely down and without power. All houses. All businesses. EVERYTHING. It was dark cold and depressing but crews from all over were brought to Arkansas to help us all get everything fixed up. A lot of people and towns are still without power and everything wont be completely fixed until at least a few weeks. But my family finally got our power back on last night HALLELUJAH! A week without heat, lights, etc. Having to keep our phones off except for emergencies. Spoiled food. Blah but God definitely held us together and SO many blessings came out of it. The damage was terrible. I have tons of pictures that I have to upload and post a few on here. Power lines and even the poles were literally broken in half and laying on the ground. Limbs and trees everywhere. It really looked like a hurricane came through and tore us a part. Both we and parts of Kentucky were declared as being under state of emergency. Keep praying for those areas still in need of power, food, and safe warm places to stay. I am more than 100 times grateful that ours have kicked on and that the Lord saw us through every minute of it.
