hey loves

Yes I am finally writing. First of all thank you all for the notes and prayers on the last two entries. It means a lot to both me and Justin. I didnt know any of those people but it meant a lot to him so it meant a lot to me. You know how that goes.

Whats been going on with me? Too much it seems like lol.

Ummm I went to the Memphis Zoo Friday. Deannia’s 7 year old Haley’s class took a field trip there. Deannia said she’d go to help chaperone and take the kids around. She asked me if I wanted to join them, so I was all for it. Mrs. Ruddick only gave us Haley and her friend Brianna to take around. We told her we’d take more kids and we didnt mind but she was like "Oh thats ok. I dont want to overwhelm you guys plus you can spend this time with Haley." I had SO much fun. The zoo is really nice there. I was half expecting it to be all ghetto because the parts of Memphis I grew up in and been to were all ghetto. lol. But I did not expect it to have as much as it did and it was very well kept. All the animals looked healthy and well fed (to me) and it was clean. I loved it. I have a few pics I’m about to post in a bit. We were going to sit down and eat there but the food was outrageous. So Deannia found a stand that sold cotton candy and stuff cheap. She bought Haley and Brianna cotton candy. I bought a funnel cake. I asked Deannia if she wanted to split it with me but she said she wasnt hungry. WHY did I eat that whole funnel cake in less than 5 mins?! No joke! I texted Shannon about it. I was like man I’ve been craving a funnel cake since forever but I did not think I would scarf it down like that. lmao. We told Mrs. Ruddick we’d take Haley home with us instead of her riding on the bus and we decided to stop at McDonald’s to eat then head on home. Leroy called me while we were on our way back from Memphis wanting to do something. He had just gotten into town so I told him I’d call him when I got home to see if we could hang out later. I got home, called him to let him know I was home and to call me if he was free to hang out, then jumped straight into the shower. OMG it was SO hot and humid Friday. It got up to 90 PLUS it was hella humid on top of that. We all were worn out and sweaty and nasty by the time we got home. So I couldnt wait to get in the shower. I didnt get to hang out with Leroy because he already had plans to go to Luke’s graduation and t he graduation party with him. I didnt get home in time for us to just hang out before then. Plus I was EXHAUSTED when I finally got to sit down and relax so it was for the best. Man tell me why my left thigh/hip area decided to cramp up so bad from walkin around the zoo that I was limpin walking around the house. I literally could hardly move. Dad had to actually pick me up and sit me in the chair because I was hurting so bad. It sucked. It really really did. I was all better by Saturday though.

Saturday Leroy calls me and asks if I want to go out with him and Luke to hang out. I was like sure thing. I thought Katie would be going too but it ended up being just me, Luke, John, Leroy and his little cousin Erik (he’s 14). Katie decided not to go so I was the only girl in the group. lol. I had so much fun with them though. They kept me laughing the whole time. They’re such a mess. lol. We all ended up going to Jonesboro to eat out at Ruby Tuesday’s. We were going to go to a movie but we just decided to just browse around Hastings and just hang out there. I didnt realize Ruby Tuesdays was so expensive (for me) but Luke wanted to go there as I guess a graduation dinner so… yeah we went. I enjoyed it though. I always enjoy trying somewhere new.

Sunday I hung out with Deannia after church. We went to eat at El Puerto and took the girls to the park to play a bit. They loved it. We walked around the pond at first and saw all the baby ducks and geese. There were a whole lot more babies than I thought there would be but they were TOO cute. I took pics on my phone so if they look decent on the comp I’ll post those too. Then we let the girls swing and play.

Yesterday I didnt do anything but spend most of the day with my dad and bro.

On to other news… I got my grades in and I got 3 a’s and 1 c. The c was in Music Appreciation. I think I got a c because I didnt go to any concerts. We had to go to 4 for grade points which is retarded because I couldnt find rides to concerts. I cant just volunteer people to go with me you know? I told Mr. Hay that at the beginning of the semester but apparently he didnt care. Oh well I passed and I dont have to retake it. Hallelujer! I also found out Friday that I made the Dean’s list for the very first time ever! Yay!!!! I was shocked when I got the certificate in the mail.

And I think Jacob wants to do something with me Friday for my birthday. Yes people my birthday is tomorrow. I’ll be 25! Me, Deannia, my bro Josh, Leroy, and my friend Pam (elementary school friend that I JUST got back in touch with through myspace like a week or so ago. She still lives in Memphis and she’s going to try to come visit Saturday) are hopefully going to go out to eat for my birthday and maybe a movie or something to hang out Saturday. YAY! We’re going to Outback Steakhouse to eat and I am SUPER excited because I’ve never been there before. But anyway I’m not sure about Jacob though. He always asks me to do something and makes plans with me (mind you I never bring it up because I know he’s always out doing something). But tell me why he has ALWAYS cancelled on me for one reason or other. He has never followed through on any plans he’s made so Friday is iffy. We’ll see though and I’ll update on that when the time comes.
