mishmash

I’m mad. I’ve been mad. I don’t know how to say that I am mad without coming off as being extremely selfish. I don’t feel like spilling something that’s not everyone else’s problem in here. Maybe I do. Flocked post might be coming shortly.

I’m also mad about Lorlei, who is bringing two month old Zak to Summerfest on Monday for ten hours. Everyone, including her mother, wants her to leave the baby home. She refuses. I get that she’s 22 years old and wants to have fun like 22 year olds do, but she’s also 22 and a single mother. She kinda gave up the license to have fun all the time when that happened. So we’ll see how Monday goes. At least I get to leave whenever I want because I’ll have work on Monday night. I vote that it’ll go badly. Feel free to add your two cents.

I hung out with Ali two days ago and from about thirty seconds in I was in a way better mood. I called her because I was mad and, like a good friend, she decided to come cheer me up. Not that we did much of anything but be ourselves, but we talked about things and I just … I love hanging out with Ali. I never fail to feel better after hanging out with her. (Except that one time but that wasn’t anger or anything). Also, she decided my sexuality for me. Apparently I’m bi. Good to know; I can upload all those queer icons now.

We’re going to Summerfest tomorrow to see Big & Rich. Not that I’ve ever heard of them, but I don’t work and it’s ALI, for goodness sake, so it’ll be a fun time.

Yesterday, I bought a Jon Stewart for President ’08 shirt. I miss the Daily Show. 🙁

I found out what my father does for a living; he tells computers what do to. Which I can understand. Explains why he’s so strange; he has to think like a computer. I also asked my mother and know what he did for NASA (and it does NOT, as I previously thought, have anything to do with the Challenger, though that is why he left) and also that he worked on Defence Security or somesuch while we were in DC. And then he decided to come here and make more money. But still; now I have more pieces of my father. Also, he knows all the words to the Underdog song. Yes, this man is extremely bizzare.
