RYN: Okay, even before I USED Firefox, I at least had some idea what it WAS! So much for teachers being smarter than students, huh? ~Shady PS: This reminds me of the detention slip sent home because a student kept telling a teacher they were teaching something incorrectly… which ended with the teacher admitting they HAD taught it wrong, but still giving detention for having it pointed out.

RYN: I completely agree. Our regional league has its U8 and U10 leagues run as non-competitive. Scores aren’t kept or published. Matches are just recorded as ‘played.’ I believe US Soccer recommends this under the same logic as Brooking’s. Because these matches remain a spectacle with people watching, I think its effect will be limited. But in the absence of banning crowds altogether (which I’d

In a way I can sort of understand that detention. Must be my educational background, the kid is right of course, firefox is brilliant, but he was probably one of them gobshites trying to be clever, having an attitude problem, and an inflated level of self-importance (highlighted by the fact that the cocky little gimp has the nerve to post his detention letter online) Throw away the key says I!<P> Oh, and wasn’t tonight’s Dr. Who amazing? I know it is up in the air as to whether or not Tennant is leaving, so the next episode should be pretty interesting. If they have replaced him, they have done an incredibly good job of keeping it quiet.
