So, last night was in the union for a bit.
Had a couple of pints, read the paper, wind up some England fans after their and Scotland’s respective results.
Got into a conversation with some friends about Heroes. (That started when I said I wasn’t going up to School Disco (sorry, Back To Skool) and I siad I was too knackered due to staying up till 4:30 Saturday Morning to watch a classic Star trek double bill (what, don’t look at me like that) and I was asked about Heroes. Though I had to explain my personal geek out moment in Heroes Episode 17.)
Went to the toilet before I left and on my way out I bumped into someone who I hadn’t seen in a long time.
Well, two someone’s actually.
The second one was Kat. As in my ex.
Yeah.
So we all did the ‘What are you up to nowadays’ dance. And then I went to leave. Before I did, though, she thanked me for something that she really didn’t need to thank me for.
Which makes a change from people blaming me for things that are not my fault.
So, yeah. Interesting.

Man, at least you’re on speaking terms with your ex. I talk to and see neither. I can’t stand either of them. If I saw them I’d probably see my blood pressure triple, especially if it was the first ex, who left me for my bloody roommate.

Unions, unions are weird. I’m glad that Summer Holiday was in colour, although it does make it more odd,… well, generally, nobody has seen Summer Holiday, uh, ever. Aye, they went forward, the bastards. Clocks are like that, taking hours wherever they perceive right, and uncaring. Feck, they have a Back to Skool thing at our union, also, and everybody wears really tiny ties. I don’teven know how to tie a tie, now.

You didn’t just smash a pint glass over her head and run? I woulda. You know, I didn’t know till I read a Bill Bryson book that a ‘pint’ in england is 20 ounces. Fascinating things I learn from that man. I love him so. Have you taken the serenity character testy thing? Hmmmmmmm? ryn: yeah, i actually saw in a San Fran newspaper they made a huge graph of the comparisons between the movie and real life, but they weren’t criticizing it for straying from actual history, they were simply making the comparison, which was interesting to see…
