I have somewhere to live!
“Ooh, I’m so pleased! Can I trade in the children for more cash?”
Anya, Real Me
You lot will probably remember my entry a couple of days ago about my lack of living area. Well good news. I now have a room of my own!
I went to look at it yesterday, said I liked the room and got a phone call telling me that the room was mine if I want it. The people who live their already are cool and, as an added bonus, they have shitloads of books and videos. So I am set. Now all I need is to find out what the fuck is happening with Uni.
Also, I can watch Buffy tonight! When I moved back down, I left my TV remote control at home. The way my telly is I could not switch it on without the remote. My mum sent it down and today it arrived. So I have been winding up my former housemates by saying “I can watch Buffy!” (One of them has a telly, but for some reason he cannot get BBC2.)
Yesterday I got a CD (Runrig, Once In A Lifetime Live) a DVD (Magnolia) and a D12 t-shirt (front says Christina Sucks, back says Britney Swallows). Gotta love 3 for 2 offers.
The trivia comp may return today, I’m not quite sure.
Going back to the content of my last entry, when I was re-reading old entries I came across this For some reason it stuck in my head. I wondered why and then it hit me (a bit painful but never mind). The bit about me being a friend people don’t want to lose. That appears to be true. When two of my friends split up, they made an agreement that I would not have to choose between the two of them. Neither lost me as a friend. One friend from Uni, who has since graduated and now lives back home in Newcastle, was down for a couple of days at the weekend. I told him about what was happening to me and all he was worried about was losing touch with me.
Tonight I am going to a rock night. I will probably bump into the psychotic pigmy (for details see here) and if she tries any of her shit I will tell her to fuck off.
Never mind. I can watch Buffy!
Will

I hate the BBC. They keep on postponing episodes of Buffy for crap like Tennis! It hasn’t been on for, like, 2 weeks now! It better be on tonight or I’m writing to Points Of View! Dean (DWU, nsi)

Woohoo! No more homeless Will! That’s a good thing :o) I miss watching Buffy, the BBC need a boot up the jacksie, they treat all my favourite programmes so terribly! The only ones worse than the BBC are the people at Channel 4 who edit all the good bits out of Angel. At least they finally listened and started showing uncut repeats. I’m just glad I saw it on Sky first!
