Quote comp – quote 6

Last weeks quote:
“Then work came and made us free”

I only got one guess. Corbeau opined:
Quote is from “Design for Life” by the Manic Street Preachers.
“Libraries gave us power
Then work came and made us free
What price now for a shallow piece of dignity”
Have a fabulous day. ~
[Corbeau]

And that is correct. (Slight technical detail. Its ‘A Design For Life’.)

Next quote:
“The truth. It is a beautiful and dangerous thing, and should therefore be treated with great caution.”

You have a week.

Good luck.

This sounds familiar, but I can’t place it. But I’ll throw out a guess so I can be mentioned in the next quote comp entry. Dude, I could cheat. But I won’t. Mononoke Hine. Just because people haven’t seen it.

YES! Party! Party! Party! *holds up bottle of tequila* Who wants a shot? Ok. I won’t start your party without you. I’ll just take a shot myself… and another… and another… One Tequila, Two Tequila, Three Tequila, Floor. Whee. ~

I know I know I actually know! Proffesor Serverus Snape in one of the Harry Potter books, cant remember which one though, but I will find it!

Said by Albus Dumbledore in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone or Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone depending upon where you live. I can give you some more information once I get home and go through my copy. I just know that’s who said it. Have a fabulous day. ~

It was Dumbledore, but you already knew that. Just leaving a note to say hi, basically, since there’s no chance of me winning three armadillos and a foot massage this week.

Harry Potter! It’s from Harry Potter! Dumbledore!

eh, looking down, i see i was a bit late on that one.
