Now THAT’S a drunken theft.

As you may be aware, students have a reputation for going out, getting drunk and stealing stupid things. Road cones (my speciality), signs from pubs, road signs, wheelie bins from police stations, that sort of thing.
Now add to the list temporary fencing. I’m serious. You know the fencing they put up when there is building work going on to stop people from vandalising what they are working on, or just to stop people using something? A bit of that.
Let me take you back a few weeks. One night I went out on the piss with one of my housemates and another friend. after we got a pizza, and said goodbye to the friend, me and my housemate passed some temporary fencing protecting a skip. We did try to steal some then, but all we did was pull it down. Upon returning home, we decided that our mission was to steal the whole thing. Later, we got our friend to agree to help (not that he needed much persuasion).
Fast forward to last night.
Me, my housemate and our friend were at a goth/rock night that a mutual friend was DJing at. On the way home we decided that last night was the night. We went to where the fence is. After pulling it back upright, we chose our bit of fence. Pulled it out of the blocks it was in. Turned it so that it was laying flat. My housemate took the front, our friend took the back and I went in the middle. And off we went.
The cheers we got as we walked down the road was amazing. We got it back to the house, and (with some help from my other housemate) into the back garden. We then took photos of us posing with the fence.
It is still in the garden. We plan to phone our landlord and claim that someone stuck it on the roof. This is because when he jamp down from the roof one of my housemated broke some of the guttering.
Big deal, me and my mates had off with a McDonalds “M”
