alternatickers - cool, free web tickers

A few of you asked about the 30-day shred workout I mentioned in my previous entry. Here. It seems to be pretty popular. And I like that the work outs are only 20 minutes. I can totally squeeze in 20 minutes of anything into my day. So, no excuses! But I won’t be able to start tomorrow like I originally planned. I ended up finding a better deal on a scale, mat and the DVD on Amazon than I would have in a store. So, as soon as it arrives then I’ll start. (Although, it kind of bothers me that I won’t be starting on the first of the month…)

I got all my running around done this morning. Got Mason’s birth certificates done (which was surprisingly easy considering he was born at home! All I had to do was fill out a worksheet, they typed it up at the health dept. and voila! Birth certificate), submitted his paperwork for my insurance, went to the bank, mailed off my Zune for repair (AGAIN! I got it back while I was gone, and I opened it up to sync all my music onto it on Friday and IT DIDN’T WORK. And they replaced it from my original! I was so flippin’ mad. I’m so glad it’s stil under warranty), and visited Josh’s mom at work. She just had to show little Mason off to everyone.

Who, by the way, is one month old today.

He’s got baby acne and is peeling on his forehead. But his eyes are still blue! And his eye lashes are starting to grow long.

I just got done having a conversation with my brother about how I’d really like for him to be out of the house by the end of the month. I feel like I’m being a horrible older sister. But seriously… I told him three months ago that I wanted him in his own place tomorrow. He had plenty of time to get things worked out. He asked me to wake him up at noon tomorrow so he can go submit his application for an apartment.

Josh’s mom and his sister came over last night after they got back from Indiana. Josh’s other sister had her baby on Friday. (For those who remember, the sister who had a stillborn two Junes ago.) She had a baby girl, 5lbs 15 oz’s and named her Rylie Ann. Josh’s mom was concerned that Krystal wouldn’t keep up with breastfeeding when she got out of the hospital. But Krystal called me this morning with a couple concerns, and I pointed her to a few helpful resources and she seems to really want to try hard at nursing. Josh’s mom is a total boob nazi. She nursed all her kids for 2-3 years, each.
