missing my big boys.
Just wanted to share this.
I miss the boys like crazy. We talk on webcam every other day. Gabe is so hilarious. He makes up the funniest stories. His imagination is endless. And Xavier is starting to talk a lot more. He’s been talking for a long time, but you can have actual conversations with him now. And he also comes up with the funniest things. I officially have one kid in diapers, now. Xavier was pooping full time on the potty when he left, and now he’s completely potty trained.
(I don’t think I’ve posted these on here. They’ve been on my Facebook for a while…)
How is it that my baby is going to be FOUR next month?
He is so amazing. He’s definetly going to be a challenge to raise, however.
He’s just like me.
He constantly needs to be challenged, needs to be doing something that keeps him occupied.
He cannot sit still, and he is far too smart for his own good.
The good thing is I understand his personality, because I’m the same way!
And my little sweetie… is going to be THREE in February. -sniff-
He’s definetly far more laid back than Gabe is. He’s content with just about anything we do.
And doesn’t need to be kept busy 100% of the time.
He can be preoccupied with the same thing for long periods of time.
Where Gabe gets bored within 5 minutes.
And my crazy boys, being crazy boys…
I’ve pretty much given up telling them not to beat eachother up.
They play wrestle constantly.
And I’m not quite sure where they get the idea from, as what they watch on TV is closely monitored.
And the babysitter doesn’t let them watch anything violent, either.
I think boys are just hard wired to be rough and tumble type kids.
Now, I’ve simply taken the approach of warning them that if they get hurt, it’s because they’re being too rough.
Usually they stop before anyone gets hurt. And I don’t have to interject too often.
I can’t wait until January and they are home.
