I leave today for the euthanasia school work is sending me to. It’s 2 1/2 hours away, at another shelter. It’s tomorrow and Wednesday, and we (the co-worker I’m going with) drive back Wednesday night. They gave us the county car, a gas card, paid for our hotel rooms and we are getting paid 10 hours a day for all three days. The hotel covers breakfast, the class covers lunch and they gave us $40/day for dinner. Yea, it’s a pretty sweet deal! Myself and my co-worker already know how to euthanise and have been, but we need to be certified by Illinois. And in order to get that, we have to go thru the class.

I should get my tax refund tomorrow. Yay for paying off bills. And getting a Zune or iPod. And getting a new computer. LOL Josh is finishing the renovations we started while I’m gone. And I already bought the paint for the living room & kitchen. So, I’ll do that while I’m off next weekend. And we’ve been pricing new hardwood, and are fairly certain we’ll get that installed before the boys come back in 2 weeks. It would be SO nice to get rid of this icky carpet. We’re going to do hardwood in the living room, kitchen and down the hall that leads to the bedroom. The bedrooms have carpet, but it’s not icky and I want carpet in the bedrooms anyways.

I’m crampy. Stupid AF should be rearing her ugly head sometime today.

Xavier has learned how to say "I love you" and "I miss you" since he’s been with his Daddy. So, I say, "I love you and miss you, Xavier!" and he sais "I wuv you and miss you too, mommy." Sooo stinkin cute and sends me into tears every single time. I miss them like crazy. But I’ve been keeping pretty busy, so it hasn’t been too bad.
