Molly went back to the vet this morning. They called me a bit ago and said the perferation in her eye healed, but she still has an ulcer. And her entire eye is foggy & white, due to the trauma. The pressure in her eye is supposed to be between 12 and 24, and it’s at 88. They had to get an IV in her and start pushing meds to attempt to get it down, but if she can’t get it down to 40 today, she’ll be losing her vision, if it’s not too late already.

Josh ended up in a ditch on Thursday and had to take his car into the dealership yesterday because anytime he drove over 40 mph his car started shaking. He ended up needing a new wire harness for his ABS and traction system, along with a few other things. Yay.

Things are going okay at work. We have 4 full time employees in my area and 2 part time. They’re turning the 2 part time into full time, and they’re going to have the schedule of 5 days a week, 6am to 3:30pm. One of the part time guys is new, and is teetering on the verge of termination. I’m fairly certain he’ll be getting the boot. And the second is getting up there in occurances and might be right out the door behind the new guy. I’ve already asked my superviser if I could switch to the new schedule, because when Josh deploys the current schedule I’m on (working 10-12+ hours daily) is going to be near impossible for me with the kids. She seemed to understand, so I really hope they can switch me. That would take a huge burden off my shoulders.

Josh has his physical exam and physical training test for border patrol on the 2nd. And his oral interview on the 9th. This is going a lot faster than we thought it would, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed. Border patrol would mean us relocation to either Tucson, AZ or El Paso, TX. Which is very appealing with the current weather. The salary and federal job benefits are extremely appealing, too.

Bah.
