Sick Weekend

Dear Diary:
This weekend was marred with illness throughout the family. Cold… flu…. generally blech. I have been fighting what everyone else has full blown.

I got the breezeway cleaned. As a result I dumped three bags of garbage and there is now a ton of paper recycling waiting for Wednesday collection. I am pissed beyond belief at the family. If you remember a year or more ago I redid the breezeway with new shelves and containers to keep everything organized. Nothing was organized. Things just thrown on shelves, food left open in boxes and molded to the container that it was in. Lots of food thrown away because of it being expired or stale.

Saturday we had a birthday party to go to for my friend’s son. We were giving him the relatively brand new Thomas Trainset table and the track and cars that G barely ever played with. Because of the size of the table and not wanting to disassemble it, we were going to take two cars. We need to leave at 3:30 PM and at 2:00 PM, L informs me that she is so sick that she can’t drive. So I had to drive to their house 40 minutes with traffic one way and drop off the stuff and then come back home to get the kids as L did not go. But she had no problem sitting around playing on the computer and watching TV.

The kids were good and everyone had a good time.

Sunday I basically did nothing but play on the computer a bit and watch football. Love them Steelers!

Back to work today.
