Newest Family Member

I cannot believe that I didn’t come and write about this sooner, but last Saturday, Shawn and I, along with the boys went to the local shelter and adopted a cat. Her name is Abby, and she is a dark grey colour with a white stomach, and white paws. The ladies at the shelter didn’t know exactly how old she was, but I believe she is about 4/5 months old. She is an absoulte doll, and it really cute. She follows Shawn around like his shadow, and loves to sleep.

The reason we had to get a cat, well we didn’t really have to get one, but she comes in handy is because Thursday night my mom told me she heard mice once again running around in my house. The hard part about this house is it’s so old, we cannot plug all the ways that mice are getting in from the outdoor. So last night I was in my room, I was just going to hop into bed and boom dead mouse on my bedroom floor. It’s nice that the cat does catch them, but it wasn’t a nice gift in our bedroom, so I had to call my dad to come and clean it up.

Now another thing, I have my first shift on Sunday at Pala- all by myself, and I was hoping to get hired at Bay, but the head of HR was let go from the company yesterday, so god knows how long it will take for me to get a job there now. I imagine there is going to be alot of changes going on in that company and I don’t know if I’ll enjoy working for them if thats the case.

But I am off, I am watching my friend Jessie’s two children tonight while her and her husband go and play baseball, tonight is the ultimate birth control, Maxim whos 2.5, Emily whos 2, Cooper whos 14months and then Kyle whos 6months old. Pray for me LOL
