home decorating……

So N has been all "you need to get excited about being here and making changes to the house"..this is your place now….

Then he tells me I get the bathroom upstairs and the bedroom to do what I want with….but of course, it doesn’t go like that. The bathroom currently has white tile at the bottom and god awful southwest print wallpaper on the top. The floor is plywood currently (long story) but we are going to tile it with some natural stone tile. The cabinets and stuff are painted Black.

So N wants to keep the black..and paint over the wallpaper with Burgundy. Some day in the future we may pull off the wallpaper but for now we are just painting over it.

So currently there is a solid black shower curtain in the bathroom and he wants a new one that is white with a black tree on it. It is a cool shower curtain. But I was thinking of painting it a green or something….but he is hooked on a burgundy. He’s like I thought you like Red and stuff…..I do…but I don’t like dark colors in bathrooms…especially with freaking black cabinets.

I told him he can do what he wants….not going to fight over it…but grrrrrr….he knows best…he’s all artsy and stuff….I’m just a girl…

UPDATE:  OK so I agreed to the Burgundy but got him to say he will paint a tree on the walls to help break it up.  I told him that would be ok…I just didn’t want it solid lol
