More updates..

So I just sat an re-read all my blog entries since August…just to refresh my memory  and realized I left out some updates…

J finally got rid of her loser bf.  Christmas was the kicker for her and she FINALLY reached the screw you point.  He always had a reason not to show up blah blah blah…and she was over it.

So in January, she met C.  4 years younger than her but a total sweetheart….not at all like her typical guys.  He works his butt off and loves her.  So now they are getting married the beginning of October lol.  He takes care of her but he also knows how to tell her No – which is something she isn’t too used to hearing.  Instead of feeding her BS answers just to get her to shut up, he tells her the truth.  I actually really like him – he seems like a grounded person.  He is good with her son, wants more kids and can put up with her craziness so hopefully it will work out for them.

Working from home has been good but has caused some friction with me and N.  He tries to stay out of my way while I am working but then he will whine that he never gets to watch the TV or watch what he wants.  I own the TV when I am working lol.  I told him that I told him that I would have to work nights.  He always goes but you’re a contractor and can work whenever you want..blah blah blah.  The fact is I have to keep the people i work for happy….so I have to be available when they call.  Yes I can take some nights off but I can’t do it all the time.

It will be ok.  Once we move to Vegas, N will have a job and work a lot more hours.  While I miss him when he’s gone, I think it will be good for us — make us appreciate the time we have together.  I was an only child — I like some of my alone time…and sometimes I don’t get enough of it. lol

Ok…time to get to work or clean house or both 😛
