dating a man is vision impaired,any advice?

 I met a guy over at Walmart one night who was talking to my friend Holly who works there. We started talking about movies when I noticed he reached over and touched my skin and mentioned my skin was so smooth in the conversation he than smelled my hair telling me I smelled heavenly. I felt really awkard because he leaned in an inch away from my face and told me my eyes are very beautiful and he loved my eye color. I asked him why he was so touchy with me that I felt uncomfortable. I told him I loved his icy blue white eye color and shortly after I asked him out he ended up confessing to me that he was born blind and his vision is slowly improving with time that he is supposed to be wearing glasses but accidently broke them when he moved to West Virginia from Virginia. When we were talking he reached up and stroked my hair to find out how long my hair was. He wasnt touching to be sexual he was touching me to get to know me better.  Come to find out when you stand close to him it gives him issues seeing you when you stand at a distance he can see you clearly. He bearly manage to pass his driving test. He asked me if I was going to break up with him because he have issues with his vision. I like him for who he is not because he can see me or not.

 I asked him if he wanted to play pool or something. I wasnt thinking about his vision at all when I offered. He said sure he racked them up only to smack the cue ball on the table he listened to the vibration only to turn his head to one side tapped the table again and than shot the cue ball.He broke the balls up gently and asked me if it was okay if he felt where they were on the table I told him I didnt mind as long as he didnt move them. He figured out each ball on the table my touching them and he than tapped the cue ball to hear where they were and began to shoot. He wasnt the best at the game but I was very impressed that he could play that well. He wanted to play the game as a form of competition I was intentionaly missing them so I could watch him. When Talan figured out a woman was watching the game she was fascinated that he’s blind but managing to play pool he felt insecure and quit tapping the table and feeling where the pool balls are.He began to miss and got upset.She appologized for making him feel insecure but she never saw anyone so fascinating as him. He was thinking of leaving when I told him darling we are here to play a game not to worry about the judgements of others. He gave me a kiss and when he sank the last ball in he smiled at me and hugged me telling me he never met a woman like me because I dont limit him I just help him find a way.

 After we played pool he drove to Grandview. I had to read the signs for him because he couldn’t see them but he was able to drive. We drove to Grandview because I thought he wanted to see the park come to find out he wanted to be alone with me. We sat in his car as he told me about his family. He rents a room from a Nun who he calls Mother Moo and he tells me about how his roomate is a former soldier with organ transplant issues. He told me about what its like to live in Virginia and one of these days he might take me to Virginia to meet his mother. After we hung around Grandview we wondered around Walmart to discover the Pizza Sub I bought from Subway was food poisoned.I told him I was getting sick only to end up throwing up outside beside my car. When he found out I was getting sick he grabbed my hair holding it back. I was so embarassed I cried. He told me it was okay and that he didnt mind. He told me it was the best date he ever had. I felt like a fool for him to kiss me and tell me it was alright.

 His kindness and affection this early in the relationship astounds me. He wants to meet my family and asked me to drive him around to some places in West Virginia that I like that I would think he would appreciate. He Since the 13th we have texted every day he worked at Wendy’s I dont bother him while he’s a work but when he isnt we text on a regular basis.

 I have a date after he gets off work tonight and on my day off we are going to hang out at the mall. I really like Talan his vision doesnt hinder my affection for him it makes me like him that much more. Due to his medical conidition he will get his vision back for a short time and he will ended losing his vision in his 60s or 70s again. I am okay with this because at least he will always see me as beautiful by my actions instead of the way I look. I think I might possibly be in love.

 I wish he had the money to replace his glasses so he could see better. I like a man in glasses. He’s so smart and caring. I hope he stays that way! My family is dying to meet him because they wonder who my new boyfriend is now. My friends are dying to meet him but I dont know if they will behave. Due to Talans vision he’s very jumpy and nervous. I try to explain to my friend Mandy dont be to loud around him it makes him nervous. I got a feeling that my future going to get real interesting!

 Any advice on dates I can do to help him feel more comfortable? I want Talan not to feel left out because of his vision. Any advice?
