One Year Wedding Anniversary

Gentle Hearts:

Our First Civil Ceremony Wedding Anniversary dawned and Hubby and I woke at seven AM.  It started out like any ordinary morning.  I stumbled into the kitchen and had a cup of coffee and sat down beside my Father-In-Law and Sister-In-Law.  An Anniversary card was on the table. Hubby bathed and then gave me a cup of orange juice and my thyroid pill.  I had placed the framed poem that I composed and dedicated to him on the chair and his Anniversary Card and gift on the table.  He told me that I had to be bathed and dressed by nine O’clock this morning and blew me a kiss.  I had stumbled back into our bedroom to tidy up and then Hubby called me into the kitchen.  He surprised me with a big bouquet of flowers, a bottle of champagne, a box of chocolates, a cuddly teddybear clutching a real red rose and a copy of ‘Three Men and a Little Lady’ on DVD which I had wanted to own and watch again for the past four months.  I was totally surprised!  I bathed and dressed and the two of us went out the door by nine AM.  He told me to beef up my step as we ran to the bus stop that took us to central Oxford.  Once in Oxford Centre he surprised me by boarding the Oxford Tour bus…a double-dutch tour bus that takes all day tours throughout the city giving its passangers detailed tours and the history of each and every University in Oxford and the history of the Town.  We had lunch at the Cafe Revive at Marks and Spencers and then we went to the Museum of Oxford.

It was truly fascinating! We spent two hours in the Museum!  This was the first Museum I had ever went to and I was mesmorized by the collection!  The Museum gave the history of Oxford!

In the Evening we all had our meal and we toasted each other with champagne and had a slice of the special Anniversary cake that I made for Our Anniversary.

Special Anniversary Bouquet Alex gave me!

An Anniversary Kiss!
