Daddy’s home!
Little man is trying to fall asleep. We had to drive Matt to his mom’s so he could a) do some work and b) bring his mom’s car back home so we can have it for the next couple weeks. Luke fell asleep in the car, and that always ruins his naps.
Anyway, a little catch up!
We sent these pictures to Matt on Thursday:
Friday morning we got ready to go and went to the airport to pick Matt up. Matt & Luke were soooo excited to see each other – Matt made me drive home so he could sit in the back with Lukey. Luke babbled on and on and on to his Daddy, it was so sweet. Matt brought Luke a NC Tarheels bear and Luke’s first reaction was to give it a biiiig hug. It was super cute 🙂
We spent most of the day around the house, just hanging out and spending time together. In the afternoon we took a trip to my Dad’s work so we could fax a bunch of stuff for our mortgage (38 pages of crap!!). When we were done we brought Luke home for a nap – he hadn’t napped much at all (maybe 45 minutes over the course of the entire day), and he actually never ended up napping at this point (The previous day he napped a total of 4.5 hours over the course of the day, and still went to bed a 1/2 hour early – so I guess he was out of balance or something). After bringing him home to hang out with Grandma, we picked up Mallory and the 3 of us went to Pane’s for fish fries. Only, when I got there….I decided I wanted French Onion Soup muuuuch more. So I got that & a salad instead. It was insanely good. We left feeling WAY too full, but it was fun to do. And soo so yummy.
In the evening we watched the sabres game and went to bed.
So now…I’m waiting for Matt to get done working and then we’re going to take Luke to see the Easter bunny. We had a few options for this morning – one being the egg hunt in Ransomville, but….Matt had to work and I really wanted him to go with us. Then there is Wallgreens around the corner from us – but I doubt if they have a photographer and that’s really the only reason I want to go! The Blvd mall only had the Easter bunny there for 1 day, and we missed it. So I started googling things and I found out that they have regular hours at the Galleria, so that’s what we’re gonna do! I’m so excited to put Luke’s Easter outfit on him!!
I’m hearing that 60 degree days are in our near future, so I’m really pumped that we could possibly have a warm-ish Easter!! How great would that be?? Fingers are crossed!!
Well I need to grab something to eat and get in the shower while little man is napping. Hope your weekend is great 🙂
