Five Years Ago
Today is Jacob’s and my official together anniversary. I’m not sure why we declared the 31st the official anniversary. Well… maybe cuz it was the first time we kissed if I remember correctly. Awww… That must be it. I must still love the guy cuz I just got flutters in my tummy thinking about that night. LOL
In celebration of our 5th year together, I am insisting on doing something fun tonight. Even though our money situation isn’t the best, I refuse to let that stop us from going out. So we are going to head over to the Shark Tank and see Dane Cook tonight!!! I’m totally pumped. I hope we don’t have any problems getting tickets. I looked earlier this week, and it wasn’t sold out, so I’m hoping that there are a couple of seats waiting for us when we get there.
I’m pretty hackin’ excited to see Dane Cook live. I’ve never been to a comedy show before, so this will be different than any concert I’m sure.
Other than that, I don’t have much to write about. Let me think. I’m sure I can ramble about something.
This week is the first week of the new "accountability group" at Christy’s. I’m looking forward to it. I hope it give me that added oomph to get on the right track to losing some lbs. and getting my cardio up for the backpacking trip in October. As it stands right now, there would be no way that I could make it on a 21 mile hike. LOL I have 4 months to get in shape. That’s not much time considering how quickly my weeks tend to fly by.
Rosie is going to start coming by on her lunch break each day and work out with me down in the gym. It’s about time that I get down there and start putting a use to the place.
I was talking to Michelle in church today. Turns out that at one point she used to weigh 300 pounds. I would have never guessed it. She said she lost it by using Weight Watchers. She also said that losing weight is more mental than anything else. And I know that it is. I have all of the tools that I could possibly need to be able to lose weight the right way. Why don’t I? Because I mentally don’t keep up my motivation to actually drop the weight and stay healthy. I pray that this accountability group and the goal of the backpacking trip will be what I need to get moving in my weightloss.
Well I suppose… it’s 5:20. I think I’ll start getting ready to go to the "concert".
Here’s to a happy anniversary with my guy.
Cheers!
JamieLynn =)
Is Dane going to cook a shark? Well, have a great anniversary celebration!

RYN: “The Shark Tank” is a good name for a hockey arena, since, either way, there’s lots of bloodletting.
