Things Are Looking Up

So my personal therapy session here in my diary last night seemed to do the trick.  At least to a small degree.  So far since I’ve been home from work, Jacob and I are getting along.  Maybe it took getting my frustrations out of my system.  It obviously isn’t good to hold things in.  Eventually it all has to come out.  It was like word vomit.  It had no where to go but onto my screen.  LOL

The brakes have now been successfully changed on the car.  Seth is actually in town this week, so Jacob took the car over to the shop that Seth is working at this week and got a free brake change with the exception of the cost of brake pads.  Now all we need to do is get insurance in our name, which I will probably do on Thursday.  Jacob gets paid on Friday, and I’m hoping that my quarter bonus will be depositted into the account on Friday or shortly after.

It seems that we are going to be able to pull of this trip financially.  It comes down to the fact that we decided to quit chasing our ass with the cable company.  As much as we tried, we weren’t getting caught up.  It was ridiculous really.  It’s been shut off for about a week.  Kind of sad because I do like my t.v., but the way I see it is there are other priorities in life that are higher up on the list than cable t.v.  Once we get caught up with our finances, we’ll go back to the basic cable package.  No movie channels and definitely no internet.  I prefer the AT&T DSL service with the wireless modem to be honest.

Oh yeah… I’m super duper excited too.  I was able to finally get the scapbook for my mom ordered a few minutes ago.  I don’t know if it was because there was just a glitch in their system last night, or if it was because I used an IE browser instead of Firefox, OR that I used Jacob’s Visa debit card instead of mine.  Regardless, the book is ordered and I’m hoping that it will be in my aunt’s hands no later than Tuesday or Wednesday.  It would be great if it was there on Friday even.  As long as we have it by Thanksgiving though… that’s all I really care about.

I’m going to try and post the video of it again.  I know the first time I posted it, it wasn’t loading all the pages correctly.  Maybe since I’m being so lucky today, it will work properly.  =)
