It Just Keeps Growing and Growing and….

GROWING!

I’m talking about the scrapbook in case you’re wondering.  *sigh*  I’m thinking that this scrapbook is beginning to get out of control!  I got another package of pictures in the mail from my aunt yesterday.  I definitely needed them, but now I have so many pictures.  Not all of them will obviously make it into the book, but at the same time there are so many that really just HAVE to be in the book regardless.  I’m probably going to end up with about 60 pages or so in the book when all is said and done.  And because of the length of the book and my decision to order the bound book from scrapblog.com, I’m probably going to spend just under $100 or so on the darned thing.

I told Jacob it was going to cost more than expected.  Lucily he didn’t seem to mind.  He thinks it’s probably one of the best presents that I can give her.  All I have to say at this point is this book better look as good as I’m under the impression it will look.  If it’s anything less then amazing, I’m going to throw a fit like a two year old in the candy aisle.

At this point, the next 3 days are going to be devoted to getting this thing finished.  I’m supposed to get my hair done on Saturday morning.  We’ll have to see if that’s still going to happen or not.  I would like to have it looking a bit more decent than it has as of late.  And Rosie has some ideas of what she wants to do this time around.  I told her last time that she did my hair however many months ago that the next time she could do whatever she wanted.  I trust her.  I’m sure it will be cute as always.  I’ll try to remember to take before and after pictures if I follow through with it.

So we are driving to Nebraska.  I’m still a bit leary of whether we will be able to pull this trip off, but worst case scenario, if we end up getting closer to the end of next week and don’t think we can pull it off, we’ll jump on a bus or something.  LOL  Although I vowed to never do that again!  We’ll have to see though.  All I know is I have to be there for this holiday and more importantly for my mom’s birthday.

Well, I’m going to cut this short.  I’m going to try and get one more page finished before I head to bed.  I find myself wishing that the days would go by faster so that I can get home to finish this project, but at the same time I wish time would just come to a stand still so I have more time to prepare for this trip.

P.S.  Jacob and I have a new neice!  They named her Zenna Mary Ann (umm… okay).  She’s cute for a new born baby.  I guess.  Okay… I’ll be honest.  I’ve seen cuter.  Like Lani’s baby.  He was probably the absolute cutest newborn baby I have ever seen in my life.  Most new born babies aren’t cute for a few days ya know?  ‘Kay… I’m out!
