Just Lighten Up Already

Some people are way too gullible or really don’t know how to take a joke.  Keri came out of her office laughing today about a complaint that she got about one of our examiners.  He’s our examiner up by the Chico area, and he is quite funny.  He’ll call in to the office randomly at times just to talk because he’s bored.  LOL

So she comes out of her office and tells us that Joe got a complaint on him.  Evidentally he saw a couple for an exam last month, and they had asked him if he was certified to draw blood.  Instead of telling them, "Well of course I’m licensed to draw blood." he proceeds to instead tell them, "No.  They just sent me a box of needles and told me to go practice on my neighbors."  LMAO

We laughed about that all afternoon.  Because seriously how dense do you have to be first of all to believe somebody would admit that, and two what company would hire a person to DRAW BLOOD if they didn’t know what they were doing?  DUH!  That’s just asking for lawsuits for Christmas.

Needless to say, Keri laughingly had to tell Joe that he can’t tell people that anymore.  LOL

Things are good.  I had Monday night Bible study last night.  I ♥ the girls in our little group.  They are all such sweethearts.  We had a really great time last night just getting to know each other and our stories of how we’ve come to be where we are in our lives as Christians right now.  I brought my camera along last night and we took a group picture before we left.  Unfortunately one of the girls wasn’t there, but last night was probably the only night that we were all going to be there at the same time.  The girl who missed doesn’t go to our church, but she goes to our Bible study with her friend.  It would have been nice if she was there, but we took a good picture just the 5 of us.

When I got home, I did some quick editing and then made some really cute card things with the picture and typed the scripture that is the theme of our group for this two month session.  They turned out really cute!  I can’t wait to give them to the girls when I see them.  Even Jacob said they looked great!  I’m thinking of buying some frames to put them in as well.  I’ll have to see about that.

So yesterday was Lani’s last day here at work.  She is due in 4 weeks, and she is taking maternity leave until January.  It’s going to be so weird without her here.  She’ll be around to visit though, and once she has the baby, I’m sure she’ll bring him in so we can all see him.

Not much else is new.  It’s the end of Tuesday already, so I can’t complain.  =)
